The DC Chapter of the Harry Potter Alliance aims to engage and empower members of the DC community through fan activism. The DC Chapter is part of a broader movement to inspire fans to take action on important social issues, and works to reflect that mission through member-driven service and advocacy projects, participation in national HPA campaigns, and programs that enable community and chapter members to address issues that matter most to them. The DC Chapter believes that a better world can begin at home and that small groups of engaged citizens can make a difference, and aims to provide a platform for members to create meaningful relationships and imagine a better world, together.
